This site is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. When you visit it, technical connection data such as IP address, request metadata, and security-related logs may be processed by the hosting provider so the site can be delivered securely and protected against abuse.

The legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on the legitimate interest in secure, reliable website delivery.

The current version of the site loads web fonts from Google Fonts through Google servers. That may result in technical data such as your IP address being transmitted to Google when the page loads.

This site uses a small first-party analytics setup stored in Supabase. Analytics are only activated after you explicitly consent through the site banner.

If you consent, the site stores a random visitor token in your browser and sends page path, optional blog-post slug, referrer domain, and date-based visit information to the Supabase database. No advertising profile is created, and no third-party analytics script is used.

The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw that consent at any time by clearing local storage for this site or changing your decision through the banner if shown again.

If you post a comment, the site processes the content you submit together with the name and optional email address you provide. If you sign in through Supabase OAuth, the authenticated identity data needed for that session is also processed.

Likes and some anti-spam protections use locally stored random identifiers or rate-limit information in your browser. Anonymous likes use a browser-side fingerprint token only to support the like system and help prevent abuse.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where the processing is necessary to provide the requested functionality, and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for abuse prevention and service integrity.

This site links to external services such as GitHub and LinkedIn. Those providers process data only once you actively follow the link.

Comment, like, and analytics records are stored only as long as they are needed for the operation and integrity of the site, unless legal obligations require longer retention. Browser-side tokens remain on your device until you remove them.

Under the GDPR, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability, depending on the specific processing activity.
